The island, from above.
Seeing Bali on a map and seeing it from the air are not the same thing. Things that stand apart from the ground — the rice terraces, the reef line, the cliffs, the volcano — become one structure from above. However many times you have been, it looks new.
You take off from a private helipad in South Bali. The standard route follows the southern coastline: the Uluwatu cliffs, Padang Padang, the Nusa Dua reef line and Benoa bay. Longer flights add Tanah Lot or the inland rice terraces.
The flight is a private charter — your group only. The pilot gives live commentary over the headset, tells you what you’re looking at and turns for photographs. Everyone sits by a window.

If the cloud base is low or the wind is strong the flight is moved. The pilot decides, and you get either a new date or a full refund.
3 to 5 passengers depending on the helicopter. Total passenger weight is asked in advance for flight safety — standard aviation procedure.
Numbers need to be confirmed in advance. Early morning is usually clearest; cloud builds through the afternoon.
