Vibration, silence, a reset.
About the experience
A sound bath is a relaxation session built on the long tones of crystal and Tibetan bowls. You lie on your back while the bowls are played around and over you. More than the sound itself, what you feel is the vibration the bowl sets up in the air and in your body.
The session is sixty minutes. The first ten are guided breathing, then the bowls come in slowly. There is nothing you need to do — no meditation experience, no flexibility, no belief required. Most guests drift very close to sleep somewhere in the middle.
The pavilion is open, with garden and birdsong behind. Sessions can be private or in a small group. It sits well on a first day after a long flight, or the day after a heavy activity day.
“The bowls do the talking. There is nothing you are required to do.”
Highlights
Two different families of bowl: crystal bowls are purer and longer, metal Tibetan bowls deeper and more layered.
You don’t need to know how to meditate, stretch, or believe in anything. You lie down and you listen.
Not a closed studio; a pavilion opening onto garden, with real birdsong behind it.

Good to know
The bowls are not loud, but the vibration is strong. If it becomes uncomfortable, say so during the session and the intensity is reduced.
Tell us at booking about epilepsy, a pacemaker or severe migraine — in some cases a lower-intensity session is advised.
Available alone or in a small group. In a private session the bowls can be placed directly on your body.
