What kind of trip?

Not a tour circuit — more like living locally

Bali Experience is not a “we drive you around” package. It is our own route: sacred water in the morning, rice terraces at noon, sunset over the ocean. No coach crowds — small group, private car, a real day. We run it in two lengths, both in the same spirit. All Bali tour options sit on the guide page.

Pick your programme and the rest opens up

A single room is arranged on request. Every departure runs with at least 6 guests and is confirmed 60 days before departure. If we don’t reach 6, we offer the same programme as a private trip at a separate price.

For the March departure

Nyepi — the day the island goes quiet

The 6–13 March departure falls on Nyepi, Bali’s day of silence. It doesn’t break the programme — it tends to be the day guests talk about most.

The evening of 7 March — ogoh-ogoh. Villages parade giant ogoh-ogoh effigies through the streets; drums, fire and crowds. The parade is part of the programme and happens one night a year.

8 March — the day of silence. It begins at midnight and ends at 05:00 on the morning of the 9th. The island stops; we spend that day at the hotel.

Sample itinerary — the order can shift with the weather and the group’s rhythm. Built to the island’s rhythm: a full day, then a slower one.

8 days · 7 nights — €1,199 / person

You are met at the airport with your name. Settle into the Canggu hotel and a first sunset on the beach. After a long flight, an unprogrammed, easy evening — this is where the group first meets.
A morning soft-top surf lesson with local coaches — ideal if it is your first time. Free afternoon at a beach club, evening in Canggu’s café streets. Dinner is free; our list is ready.
Tegalalang rice terraces, Ubud art market and Monkey Forest. A lunch stop looking over the jungle — our suggestion, the bill is yours. No rush.
A purification rite at Tirta Empul (in a traditional sarong), then Penglipuran, one of Bali’s most ordered villages. Lunch with a local family can be arranged as an option.
Our waterfall route away from the crowds: a swim stop and a long lunch break in nature. Back to the hotel in the afternoon; spa suggestions ready.
Two choices: a fast-boat day to Nusa Penida — cliffs and turquoise bays, €90 per person extra — or a free day at the hotel, pool and spa. The group can split; both work.
The Bukit peninsula: quieter beaches, Uluwatu Temple and cliff views at golden hour. The evening is spent facing the ocean — usually the one the group talks about most.
A free morning for a last shop or the pool. Private transfer to the airport and the night flight. If you want to stay longer, we can talk through extensions.

We built it this way on purpose. Burying the flight in the package inflates the price and ties you to one airline and one departure time. Booking it yourself leaves you free on dates, carrier and miles.

Burying the flight in the package raises the price and ties you to one airline and one time. Booking it yourself leaves you free on dates, carrier and miles. We tell you which flight fits the programme and which connection is comfortable, and we meet you at the airport with your name. Avo Travels does not sell or issue tickets.
We work small-group; the ceiling never reaches coach-tour size. Every date runs with at least 6 guests and is confirmed 60 days before departure. If we don’t reach 6, we offer the same programme as a private trip at a separate price — nobody is left without a date.
Boutique hotels chosen for location: in Canggu’s beach and café belt, in Ubud by the forest. The hotel category and area are shared in writing before booking.
It is. The price moves with the date and the hotel, so we don’t print it here — we confirm it on request and send it in writing.
Quite the opposite — it tends to be the day guests talk about most. The ogoh-ogoh parade is on the evening of 7 March; the silence begins at midnight on the 8th and ends at 05:00 on the morning of the 9th, and we spend that day at the hotel. March is the end of the rainy season; short tropical downpours are possible.
On the 8-day programme it is optional: you can use that day for Nusa Penida or spend it freely at the hotel. If you choose Nusa Penida it is added at the activity-page price, €90 per person.
They are written clearly in the contract before you book. Date-change requests we handle as flexibly as we can — we talk first, then you decide.
